My favourite healthy drink for cleansing in the new year is a cranberry/dandelion mixture. You drink a pitcher of this mixture every day for 7 days. I did this short cleanse just after Christmas, during the first week of January and I highly recommend it because not only did it help me get back on track to drinking 8 glasses of water every day, the bloated feeling from the Christmas season disappeared. I liked the taste and recommend it for those feeling like a light cleanse in the new year.
8 cups purified water
2 tablespoons pure lemon juice
1 tablespoon 100% cranberry juice
1 dandelion root tea bag
Make the tea as directed. Mix all other ingredients together in a water container or pitcher. Let the tea cool to room temperature then add it to the pitcher. Drink all the whole batch throughout the day for 7 days.
