The month of March is a great time to declutter our space, but don’t just stop at your physical space! When I find my mind is cluttered with ideas and to do lists, I find great relief by simply writing things down.
I scan my home and surroundings and categorize what needs to be done into different categories like family needs, personal care, animal care, car care etc. Once I’ve made a list, I look it over and figure out:
- The most important items – things that I need to get done and will make a priority
- Less important items, I set a date to do it, so I know it will get done and I can stop thinking about it.
- Finally I get real with myself and mark things that I can dump – that way they can stop taking up valuable space in my mind.
With your to do list out of your mind and into reality, you can relax and enjoy daily life without the mind clutter!
How are you decluttering your life this spring?
